Narcos Mexico: Season 3? Netflix Arrival And Other Updates

The much-awaited series on Netflix has aired the second season on 13th February 2020. The next season is a much-anticipated one, and now the fans are curious to know if there is going to be another season or not? And if it is up for renewal, what’s going to be the course of the series in the third season and other relevant details regarding the renewal of the series for a third season.

The first two seasons have been spectacular, and this has raised the expectations to form the show. The parent show has also been spectacular, which blew up Netflix. Although set in a different place and timeline, the series has made a considerably large fanbase.

Do we have a release date for the second season?

At this point, we don’t have a release date, but that doesn’t imply that there is any doubt about the renewal of the series. The first season was released on 15th December 2018, and it took almost fourteen months to renew the series, and the second season was aired on 13th February 2020. So if we follow the trends, it will be released around April 2021.

BUT there is contention to it amid the recent outbreak of COVID-19 as the world has been engulfed in this crisis. So it will be tough to predict when exactly we are going to see the series for next season. There is nothing anyone can do as all the work across the globe has halted, and the entertainment industry is also not untouched.

Who is all going to make it to the third season of the series?

Diego Luna, as Felix Gallardo will be the first character, the fans would love to see in the third season, but his chance of returns are way too less. Other major characters are all set to make their return to the third season.

The series will have a new storyline as the obsession with the character of Gallardo is over with the second season. Anyway, it would have been quite monotonous to expect them to tow the same line, and this has been the case in the original Narcos, too, as the character of Pablo Escobar was done away with. There is no reason to doubt that the third season will show other aspects of crime and drug lords who were active back then. So it is something which is the essence of the series, and this will be kept intact no matter what direction the storyline takes.
