The series is an adaptation of a novel penned by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. The series has a unique storyline where there is a quest to curb the evils of the universe, and in furtherance of this goal, heaven and hell get themselves in a war. The series is revolving around demon Crowley (David Tennant), and the angel Aziraphale tries their best to avert a catastrophe. The end did show their success, but the series left enough grounds to explore the possibility of another season.

Well, if you want an official word for confirmation and in this case, there isn’t any. The series has a lot of potentials to renew it for further seasons, and fans are also expecting the same. The first season had a brilliant storyline, and it did pave the way for upcoming seasons, but there are a lot of factors that the producers have to consider before they give a heads up to the next season. The viability in terms of return on investment, aka financial aspects, is taken into consideration.
