Mark your calendars, because on June 5 the 4th and final season of “13 Reasons Why” will be back! Netflix has yet to release a trailer for the new season but they released a brief video of the cast earlier this week saying farewell to the series and each other as they filmed the final season.
Season 3 of the show ended with Clay (Dylan Minnette) and his friends pinning on Monty (Timothy Granaderos) the murder of Bryce Walker (Justin Prentice), who then ends up being murdered while in jail. The reality is that Alex (Miles Heizer), with Jessica (Alisha Boe) there, was the one who killed Bryce.
But their secret could be uncovered, as it turns out that Winston (Deaken Bluman) was with Monty on the night of Bryce ‘s assassination and may expose the truth, putting them all at risk.
We may expect to see Clay Jensen, Jessica Davis, Tony Padilla (Christian Navarro), Justin Foley (Brandon Flynn), Alex Standall, Zach Dempsey (Ross Butler), and Tyler Down (Devin Druid) as returning faces. Bryce doesn’t seem to be featured in the final season, except in flashback scenes, so we’ll have to wait and see to be certain.
Some new characters are being introduced to the mix, including Gary Sinise, who is known for his roles in Forrest Gump and “C.S.I.”, and Natalie Lander, whom you might have seen on the “The Middle” show. Gary’s going to play Dr. Robert Ellman and Natalie’s going to play a character named Amanda.
With no trailer released yet, we ‘re not sure what storylines the final season will focus on, but we’re sure there’ll be lots of explosive secrets revealed along the way. Unlike previous seasons, this one will only have 10 episodes and two titles have been released: Episode 4 is entitled ‘Senior Camping Trip’ and Episode 10 is entitled ‘Graduation.’ We can only assume that this means that everything will be wrapped up in a good way, by the end.
