The Netflix film Hustle is all set to allow Adam Sandler to be a star along with We The Animals director Jeremiah Zagar on board to the helm and NBA superstar LeBron James will produce the film.
Sandler is going to play an American basketball scout who will unjustly fail after discovering a once-in-a-lifetime player abroad. He then ready to bring the player to the U.S. to provide that they both have what it takes to make it in the NBA.
The script was penned by Taylor Materne and Will Fetters. Happy Madison, Roth Films, and James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Entertainment will produce the show. The recent tie-up between Netflix and Sandler follows the streaming giant extending its bonding with the actor and his Happy Madison Production by promising to produce more films that will be showcased exclusively on the platform.
Just now Sandlers had found box office success in Josh and Benny Safdie’s uncut Gems, an indie crime thriller centering on a New York jeweler and gambling addict who must track down a royal gem despite pay off his debts.
