This tutorial is intended for Windows XP and Windows 7 users who still have the original Windows 2000 installation CD.
Windows XP and Windows 7 are the two versions of Windows that have CD-ROM drives for installing software. In the case of computers running Vista, you can install software from the CD-ROM drive itself. However, Windows XP and Windows 7 lack the capability to install from the CD-ROM drive itself, so you will need to download the Windows XP or Windows 7 installer from Microsoft’s website and run it from a disk image.
You’ll probably need to use the Windows XP or Windows 7 installer to get rid of the error code 0x0. As far as I know this error code is a result of the program not having the correct information when it was trying to run.
Windows 7 requires a CD-ROM drive. So if you have a CD-ROM drive you should go to the Microsofts website and copy the Windows XP or Windows 7 installer from the CD-ROM drive to the drive.
The easiest way to do this is to go to the www.windowsupdate.microsoft.com and copy the Windows XP or Windows 7 installer from the CD-ROM drive to the drive you want to replace it on.
Okay, so let’s say you have a Windows 7 PC that has an external hard drive. You can easily go to that site and change the drive. That’ll be much easier than doing all of the above.
One thing you might do is go to the Microsofts site and search for the drive you want to change on. The search page will have a dropdown box to choose the drive you want to change. The last thing you want to do is go into the drive you have now because if you do, you might break something or remove a tool or something.
Thats a great way to break things is to do things that are not what you want to do. There are some things that you will want to do all over the place that you might not want to do on a certain drive. That is why you can use a tool that will allow you to do things you would never do on a certain drive.
Error code 0x0 – Windows 7 does not have this problem but you could use this tool to fix your drive. So you can choose which drive you want to change. Just click the link and it will open a file that will allow you to select the drive you want to use.
If you want to fix your actual windows drive you can use a tool called Fix My Windows. Its name is error 0x0 and that will allow you to fix windows drive. But in this case it might not be the best choice since some things in Windows 7 are not very reliable, but if you want to fix your actual windows drive you should use this tool.
