The problem is that we try so easily to go outside of our brains and not to think about our thoughts. We try so easily to make good decisions because we think that we have to. One study was performed on volunteers between the ages of 18 and 40 and asked to play the game Asc, where they had to take an action that would help them feel better. Even if we don’t have the willpower to take that first step back, we must let go of our excuses (the excuses that we told ourselves we were going to keep) and admit that we are powerless by comparison. We have to let go of the illusion that we are in charge. We must move to let go of our excuses.

At the end of the day, we don’t need to do this anymore. We need to let go of our excuses, the excuses that we were going to keep and admit we were powerless by comparison.
