• Biochemistry

 Biochemistry has garnered attention ever since MCAT emphasized on it and most med schools also now want it as a prerequisite. While other schools make that assessment through a candidate’s MCAT score as they would require sufficient knowledge to score well. Biochemistry helps medical students learn about thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium to basics like molecular structures, acid or base chemistry, reaction mechanisms and rates and any other applications that underpin a better understanding of living systems.
